Roadmap

The NEX team is dedicated to continuously improving and enhancing the platform in order to offer an excellent user experience. In pursuit of this goal, the team has a multi-year schedule to achieve this objective through regular updates and upgrades.

Projected milestones timeline

• Mainnet launch: February 2025

• Immunefi Bugbounty: from February 2025

• Arbitrum contract launch: Q1 2025

• Nexlabs token generation event: H1 2025

• Build your own index: H2 2025

• AI agent managed fund: H2 2025

• Principal Protected Note module: Q3 2025

• Machine learning: H2 2025. (see active asset management)

• Solana compatible cross chain contracts through Solang compiler: H2 2025

• Whitelabel solutions for traditional finance institutions, by bringing assets on chain in compliance with regulations, starting with EU's MiCAr: 2026

Ongoing target

• Addition of chains through Chainlink CCIP. Predominant target strategy is keeping liquidity centralized yet allowing users to operate on the chain of their choice without any noticeable difference. Currently these are EVM compatible chains.

• Onboard DAOs' treasuries and non-crypto funds into long term investing in index tokens, with targets:

  • Providing a stable income to Nexlabs treasury and generate yield to $NEX token holders.

  • Increasing liquidity, reducing slippage and thus improving user experience moving in-and-out of index funds

• Increasing ease of use user experience. Predominantly through continuous building of mobile product features, one-click-trade, social login and integrated payment.

• Increasing ease of developer experience: by updating library packages and our widget 3rd parties can easily integrate with Nexlabs products, increasing their adoption.

• Replication of funds and fund strategies as seen in the traditional finance (TradFi) industry. Such as narrative based-, mixed asset- and ML and AI-funds. Including, rollout of Plume Network product line and integration various with Plume ecosystem partners.

• Index-as-a-Service Program: To onboard institutional services via centralized exchanges, we offer a tailored smart contract infrastructure designed to meet their specific needs. Our program provides seamless integration, ensuring compliance, security, and scalability. By customizing on-chain index solutions, we bridge the gap between traditional finance and decentralized asset management.
