At NEX, we aim to advance the DeFi industry by addressing two of its most significant challenges:

• The complex user experience in buying, selling, bridging, and staking tokens across several networks.

• The prevailing predatory behavior focuses on extracting value from the industry.

NEX is committed to pushing the industry forward by bringing real-world assets (RWAs) on-chain and simplifying the investing process for users.

To achieve this, we seek to promote the index model, a well-established approach in traditional finance that is still in its infancy within DeFi. By simplifying access to RWAs and providing easier-to-use index-based investment options, we remove frictions and empower users to keep their wealth on-chain and protect their portfolios from crypto market volatility without the need to off-ramp and extract money from the ecosystem.

Ultimately, by enabling users to retain their wealth on-chain, we aim to encourage a more mature and sustainable industry that drives long-term value for all participants. As this comprehensive and expansive financial market takes shape, it will create greater opportunities, accelerating the growth of the DeFi sector and benefiting everyone involved.

Practical Examples

Case n°1

Traditional equities, especially the Magnificent 7, keep trending upward while the crypto market decorellates and underperforms.

In such a case, DeFi investors would have to either cash out or keep part of their portfolio on a traditional brokerage platform to get exposure to the stock market and hedge against their crypto portfolio.

Nex provides users with the $MAG7 index on-chain, allowing them to store their wealth on-chain, thus removing the frictions present in the current DeFi landscape.

Case n°2

Gold is overperforming the market due to fear of a potential recession while the crypto market is trending downward, with $TOTAL3 being hit the most from this trend.

In such cases, Nex provides the $ANFI index, composed of Gold and Bitcoin, allowing investors to increase and decrease their exposure to risky assets and commodities with 1-click.
